From 2003 to 2006 the waterfront land market was very active. Prices increased steadily. In many of our communities selling prices rose 50% per year. Since 2006 the price for vacant land has fallen back to 2003 levels. If your thinking of purchasing a building lot pricing and selection have never been better. People are currently in the "cherry picking" mode. Some of the best properties are being sold.
The number of available properties today can make your decision process tough, but for the tenacious shopper the reward is worth the work.
