Pirates Harbor's canal system and the pass to the harbor have recently been dredged. The dredging plan was designed to take the low-tide depth to 5 foot.

However, while boating in the area I noted that the main channel had not been dredged. Checking on the County's website it appears that the dredge is having permitting issues.
